Before You Submit Your Order
Please check your invoice prior to submitting it, in order to ensure accuracy of the item numbers, sizes, finishes, and fabrics. Your order will
be placed exactly as submitted. It is also important to take measurements to make sure the furniture you are purchasing will fit through your
house and can be placed in the area of your choosing. All measurements shown on the web site are estimates given to us by each Manufacturer and
may vary from the actual measurement of the item once produced and received.
A one hundred percent (100%) deposit is required on all orders. We accept, Visa, Mastercard, checks and money orders.
There is no sales tax, unless your order is being delivered to the state of Colorado. It is the customer’s responsibility to comply with the
applicable tax laws for the state in which they live.
Shipping and Delivery
Once your order leaves the warehouse, we will email you the tracking number so you can track your shipment online or via telephone.
Deliveries are normally scheduled Monday – Friday during normal business hours.
Quotes for furniture include delivery charges, and are based on normal delivery conditions. Please describe any unusual delivery circumstances
(low branches, tight turns, no turn around, ferry delivery).
Expected Time of Delivery
The delivery time depends a great deal upon availability. If the items are in stock at the manufacturer, we average 4-8 weeks.
There is a great chance you will receive your items quicker and we will always do everything we can to insure timely delivery.
Please note: These are estimates, not guarantees. When it comes to delivery times, we are at the mercy of the manufacturer.
Normally we are able to pick up your furniture from the manufacturer within 2-4 weeks of your order. At that point your furniture will be on
the next truck to your area which is about 1-3 weeks on the East Coast, and 3-5 weeks on the West Coast. If we see there’s going to be an
unusual delay in your shipment, we will notify you.
**Upholstery orders may take longer than our estimates due to manufacturer production lead times.
Basic In-Home Delivery
'Basic In-Home’ service is American Furniture’s most economical home delivery option. Once your shipment has prepared for final
transport, a home delivery specialist will contact you to schedule a time and date for delivery. Delivery associates will deliver your boxed
merchandise, and place it in the first dry area of your home or garage.
White Glove Delivery
'White Glove’ service is American Furniture’s premium delivery option, and is available on all orders. This needs to be selected prior
to shipping your furniture. When selected, a home delivery specialist will contact you to schedule a time and date for delivery of your
merchandise upon its arrival in your area. A two-man team of delivery technicians will carefully unpack your merchandise and provide basic
assembly in the room of your choice. Once the set-up is complete, the delivery team will remove all packaging and debris.
The furniture sold by American Furniture is warranted by each manufacturer, not American Furniture. All merchandise we sell is from reputable
companies with excellent quality control, but defective items are occasionally shipped. In most cases, defects are of minor nature and can be
cleared up in the home by a professional furniture technician. In the event you receive an item you feel is defective, please send us photographs
clearly showing the defect along with a written description so that we can assist you with submitting the claim to the manufacturer. While none
of our manufacturers offer refunds for defective furniture, the manufacturer will be willing to repair or replace the item if the situation
warrants. AMERICAN FURNITURE, WORKING WITH THE MANUFACTURER, WILL DETERMINE IF AN ITEM NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. Natural flaws and
imperfections in wood and leathers add to a piece’s beauty and charm and should not be viewed as damages or defects. Natural stone varies in
color and veining, and there is no control over veining or color.
Occasionally, the furniture may experience minor damage during shipment or it may contain manufacturer defects. Please take your time and inspect
all the furniture upon delivery and denote any damages or defects on the delivery ticket (bill of lading), as it is much easier to have these
problems corrected when denoted on the delivery ticket. PLEASE DENOTE ON DELIVERY SLIP EVEN IF YOU KEEP AN ITEM
If your delivery is taking place during our normal business hours, 9AM-4PM EST, Monday-Friday, please call us and we will help you determine what
If your delivery is taking place after our normal business hours please contact our on call customer service person and they will help you
determine what to do. The phone number will be provided before your scheduled delivery time. If you have misplaced the number the delivery
team will be able to give you the number.
If you are directed to keep the piece of furniture that is damaged, we will have a professional furniture technician come to your home and correct
the problem. If you are directed to refuse the item we will have it replaced or repaired (per our manufacturer’s recommendation) and redelivered
to you at no additional cost. Please take your time and inspect the furniture upon delivery, as it is much easier to have any problems corrected
if they are noted on the delivery receipt. For extremely simple fixes, such as replacing a broken handle, we will Fed-Ex the parts to you and ask
you to install them.
Information We Collect
The information we collect (including name, address, telephone number, email address and, when necessary credit card information) is collected
when you do one of the following:

Use of Information Collected
To give you the best shopping experience we can, we collect your personal information in order to ensure accurate and efficient services such as:
- Order processing
- Order tracking
- Contact with customers regarding order status
- Contacting you about any possible product recalls on your merchandise
We will by no means sell or share your information with any outside organizations for commercial or marketing purposes.
Upon governmental request, such as a court order or stipulation required by law, we will disclose particular information to those specific
branches of government. Information will also be shared when preventing or assisting with fraud protection or possible investigation.
We use the current state of the art technology (SSL encryption) to secure your credit card and other personal information during checkout.
All information is protected and limited in its availability to outside sources. We will only share that information when absolutely necessary.
